  1. @quincee33 The Carling Cup is also known as the League Cup and recently it’s been seen as a lesser trophy. However, it has been won by Manchester United the past 2 seasons so it shows that the big teams do still take it seriously.

  2. @dalekie89 thank you..and since i’m here, what’s the Carling Cup? is that as good as some of the others or is it just a minor trophy?

  3. @lashlashlashlashlash I haven’t heard but will definitely check him out. Sad to say American football is not really up to par so I choose to watch the cream of the cream like Villa/Premier League and Barcelona/La Liga. But when there’s a match on I’ll watch no matter who’s playing.

  5. @phoenix2118 Yeah. He’s been like the only real star of norwegian football for the last ten years so I grew up with him as my big idol. Sad to say I think he’s way past his prime though:( Btw have u heard about Mikkel diskerud? Norwegian guy for some reason has decided to play for the states. Great prospect.

  6. @lashlashlashlashlash we might me few here in the States but we CAN BE FIERCE when it comes to ‘real’ football. I’m also excited for Carew to get more time but sad to see him go. He was such a cult figure at Villa.

  7. @quincee33 Dont know why I know this, but turkish team trabzonspor also has those colours, but in pin stripes.

  8. @phoenix2118 Im quite happy about that. He will definitely play more there than at Villa with theyre asshole manager, which is good for the national team. Next season, when he’s out of contract, I hope he finds himself a nice place in the sun where he can earn some cash and just chill out:). Also, nice to see an american who actually gives a shit about football.

  9. @quincee33 hiya from California. The only ones I know that have the ‘claret n blue’ is Villa, West Ham, Burnely (they were promoted during the 2009-2010 Premier Season and regulated back down) and sometimes Barcelona has sky blue and burgandy. Hope that helps.

  10. @quincee33 The only english teams to wear claret and blue kits are Aston Villa, West Ham United, Burnley and Scunthorpe United. Hope that helps!

  11. @phoenix2118 hey from Canada, this may sound like a dumb question but can u tell me who eles hasa light blue and burgundy, maroon or claret for uniforms? i know west ham does…..love those colour combos… i’m starting a football (american/canadian football) team for kids and want our uni’s to be baby blue and burgundy.

  12. rispetto alla Juventus sono la più grande parte mai in serie A e io come loro, ma questo è stato trofeo villa, and that’s all i got to say about that LOL. UP THE VILLA!

  13. @VillaFanFTW I know. But I wasnt really talking about the clubs, but more the behaviour of the players. I like how the juve guys seems to be having a laugh while the villa kids were quite determined and serious. But all honour to them for achieving this.

  14. @thedoc241000 If u want to tell me something u have to press “reply” at my comment.
    But anyway, it came out a bit wrong; I was reffering to the body language of the two teams different players. I just tought it was funny how the juve players were laughing and having fun while the Villa kids seemed to be a lot more focused. And calling juve rubbish doesnt offend me at all as I hate them:). Villa is my favourite. English team because of Carew.

  15. @lashlashlashlashlash Villa played their kids… Juventus played their first team. Villa’s kids beat them. Who doesn’t care? LOL

  16. Love it how Villa are “serious”? Villa fans are happy because it as our KIDS destroying a very overrated bunch of losers!
    Villa = Creators of The Game
    Juventus= Rubbish
